Members virtual briefing

On 5 November, edie held a one-hour Virtual Briefing featuring expert speakers who had been on the ground at Cali, Colombia for COP16 and were heading to Baku for COP29.

The briefing gave Members the opportunity to hear from CISL, CDP and Brazilian manufacturer Suzano, gaining insights from green economy specialists and in-house sustainability professionals. The discussion focused on the mood on the ground heading out of Cali and moving into Baku, and the role of businesses and sustainability professionals in creating a unified voice calling for ambitious change at global events.

edie’s next Virtual Members Briefing takes place on 5 December, featuring a full COP29 de-brief from those in attendance at Baku, an in-depth discussion on what the outcome (when it arrives) will mean for corporate sustainability, before reflecting on all the key trends and announcements that occurred in 2024.

The briefing will give sustainability professionals the chance to hear what climate New Years Resolutions and actions other organisations are striving to achieve in 2025.
